My Story
I started my teaching career in 2016 when one of my fellow teachers asked me to help him with one student. I had been doing translation and writing work before that time, and I hadn't thought about having any students. But he told me he was snowed under with all his work and needed help.
When I started teaching the realization of the fact that at a university they give you an abundance of knowledge, but merely teach you how to teach, hit me. If it hadn't been for this I wouldn't have decided to take the teacher courses at Ireland University. I passed three of them in 2020. In 2022 I passed the CELTA course with Pass B for the sake of the certificate. To be completely frank I would say that this education gives you a lot but not everything as you are always thought to be overreliant on books.
I'm not against books, I love them yet my lessons are based on students' needs. It is a student who chooses a way of learning. TBLT and Dogme approach provide the opportunity for that. Do you know what they are? Book your free consultation here.
